Cola Baked Barbeque Gammon
Begin by placing the gammon in a large pan and covering with the cola.
If the gammon is particularly salty you may ﬁnd it beneﬁcial to pre boil the gammon once in water and then pour the water away and then cover with the cola.
Pre-heat an oven to 180C.
To cook the gammon place the pan over a high heat and bring up to the boil.
Once boiling reduce the heat down to medium and simmer for about 2 ½ hours.
Then remove the gammon from the heat and place in a suitable baking tray.
Next remove the skin of the ham and spread the contents of the Pureety Barbeque sachet all over the fat.
Place in the oven and cook for a further 10 minutes or so, until the fat is blackened.
Remove from the oven and either leave to cool, or serve immediately for a delicious meat with a southern American smokey feel.
