Chinese Style Spare Ribs

Ingredients
6 x Pork Ribs (Cut into individual ribs)
1 sachet x Pureety Soy, Ginger and Garlic Marinade
3 tbsp x Plum sauce
2 tbsp x Hoi sin sauce
150ml x Chicken stock
1 tbsp x Five spice powder
Preparation
Shallow fry the ribs in vegetable oil in a frying pan until nicely browned.
Remove from the pan and place on a piece of kitchen towel to absorb any excess grease.
Next mix the rest of the ingredients in a thick bottomed pan and stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
Place the pan on over a medium heat and heat to a gentle simmer.
Add the ribs to the sauce mixture, return to a gentle simmer, and place a lid on top of the pan.
Cooking Method
Cook for 40-50 minutes, turning the ribs every 15 minutes, removing the lid for the final 5-10 minutes of cooking to thicken the sauce.
Serve the ribs on a plate, pouring the sauce on top, with a crisp salad on the side.
