Homemade BBQ Beans on Toast

Ingredients
1 x Can of haricot beans
1 x Pureety Hickory Barbeque Sachet
1 x Onion (Finely diced)
2 x Garlic cloves (Mashed)
1tbsp x Olive oil
200ml x Passata
120ml x Water
1tbsp x Worcestershire sauce
1tbsp x Smoked paprika
2 x Ciabatta breads (Sliced in half)
Preparation
Firstly pre-heat an oven to 150C and then pre-heat a grill to its highest setting.
Then wash the beans in cold water and drain well.
Cooking Method
Next combine all of the ingredients apart from the haricot beans in a thick bottomed, oven-proof pan and bring to the boil over a high heat.
Once boiling, remove from the heat and blend using a stick blender.
Then add the beans to the pan and place a lid on top of the pan and put in the pre-heated oven and cook for about 1 ½ hours.
When the beans are tender place the sliced ciabatta halves under a grill and turn until both sides are toasted.
To serve the dish, place a piece of ciabatta on 4 plates and pour a generous ladle full of beans over each piece of bread.
