Peri Peri Chicken Livers

4 (Starter Size)
Ingredients
250gm x Chicken livers
1 x Pureety Peri Peri Sachet
1 x Medium white onion
1tbsp x Brandy
1tbsp x Vegetable oil
Preparation
Firstly, finely dice the onion, and trim the chicken livers of any excess fat and sinew.
Cooking Method
In a thick bottomed frying pan heat the vegetable oil, and when smoking add the chicken livers, followed by the diced onion.
Next lower the heat and add the brandy. (Take great care here as the brandy may well burst into flames!!! Therefore ensure that your head isn't looking directly over the pan, and you are stood a safe distance away!!!!)
When any flames from the brandy have died down, pour the Pureety Peri Peri Sachet into the pan, and simmer over a low heat for 2-3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper as needed and serve.
Excellent accompaniments to this dish would be either freshly baked bread rolls or a crisp salad.
