Soy Garlic and Ginger Glazed Salmon
Serves
4
Ingredients
4 (6oz) x Salmon fillets
1 x Pureety Soy Ginger and Garlic Sachet
2tbsp x Vegetables oil
2 x Spring onions (Sliced for garnish)
Preparation
Trim the salmon fillets of any excess pin bones and fat.
Pour the Pureety Soy Ginger and Garlic Sachet into a shallow dish.
Place the salmon fillets into the dish and spoon the marinde all over the salmon fillets covering them.
Cover the dish and leave for 10 minutes to infuse.
Cooking Method
Heat a thick bottomed frying pan or skillet on a high heat and once the salmon has been marinating for a minimum of 10 minutes add the vegetable oil to the hot pan.
Place the salmon fillets skin side down on the pan and cook for 4 minutes.
Then turn the salmon over and cook for a further 4 minutes.
Next turn the heat off under the pan, and add any remaining marinade from the bottom of the shallow dish used earlier.
The heat remaining in the pan should cause the excess marinade to bubble and thicken into a sauce-like consistency.
Place the salmon fillets on suitable serving plates, and pour sauce over each and sprinkle the sliced spring onion over each to garnish.
These delicious salmon fillets are perfectly accompanied by crisp steamed broccoli or mange-tout.
